Garys Mobile Industry Count

Yes another one – but to quote from John Hurt’s ‘Hadden’ character  in the film Contact “First rule in Government spending, why build one when you can have two at twice the price?” so, based on my recent Social Media counter, here’s part two. This time from a mobile industry perspective and as is the nature of the beast, an evolving work that contains some key statistics driving the other major revolution – 1st being Social Media of course. More after the embed.

More about the Count - The data was taken from the source articles/statistics below and I will detail each one later as regards which one is being used in the counter. Also I will of course adding extra functionality to the mobile counter (such as week, month & year lookahead/backs plus dynamic data input).

I aim to replace a few slots on the Counter and I am still hunting for data such as: actual number of videos watched, pictures sent, videos sent from mobiles etc: but getting close on those! Suggestions always welcome!
